We are delighted to once again be able to offer yoga here at Keyneston Mill. Taking time out to look after ourselves is so important – and what could be more beneficial for our health and wellbeing than a Yoga & Meditation session in a beautiful garden setting.
Hatha yoga is suitable for all abilities and the yoga poses, or asanas, help improve balance, flexibility, and strength. This is a varied and heartfelt Hatha Yoga class with a blend of guided movement, controlled breathing, meditation and relaxation to leave you feeling calm, revitalised and ready to embrace the rest of your day.
The morning will start with a seated meditation followed by 60 minutes of yoga which will include some simple breath work and graceful sequences all in the tranquil setting of the geodesic dome or, weather permitting, outside in the beautiful natural surroundings of the River Meadow. To complete the session, there will be a period of guided relaxation.
Beginners are very warmly welcomed, as well as those more familiar with yoga practice. Poses can be as challenging as you wish, but are easily modified for newcomers, and your instructor, Becky, will be there to help you. Numbers will be limited so that you can receive plenty of individual guidance.
A herbal tea of your choice is included, and you are welcome to enjoy the gardens and estate after the session, free of charge. Why not order a picnic (must be pre-booked) or reserve a table online for a light lunch in our bistro.
Please wear leggings or loose clothing and bring a yoga mat plus something warm to wear during the relaxation time.
